The embroidered canopy is decorated with Eucharistic symbols, such as the IHS, the golden Eucharistic chalice with the host hovering over it, from which rays are beaming, the Chi Rho sign, signifying Christ. Additionally, the canopy is decorated, also embroidered, with the Lamb of God signifying Christ's body. Furthermore, the canopy is embroidered with a floral theme. In turn, the background for the symbols are vines with fruit and ears of wheat. Additionally, at the bottom of the canopy is a White Dove, symbolizing the Holy Spirit.
